Our Story

We built My True Cents because we were sick and tired of buying things from companies that turn around and give the money we pay them to causes and politicians that make the world even more sick and tired.

Simply put, we want to give people the opportunity to know more about the social and political causes that are funded by the products they buy everyday. Public and private companies give politicians, advocacy groups, and charities tens of billions of dollars each year. Let's make it simple, easy, and fun to hold them accountable for the harmful - and helpful - decisions they make.

After all, we all aspire to be a bit more of the positive change we hope to see in the world.
